BJC Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in delivering high-quality mental health services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health needs, developing personalized treatment plans aligned with therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy, to provide individualized sessions for individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate group therapies to promote engagement and foster a sense of community among participants dealing with similar issues.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, consisting of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for each client.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software for efficient record-keeping and progress tracking.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and seminars to remain informed about the latest trends and research in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at BJC Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Your role will empower clients to develop coping strategies and work toward their personal healing journeys.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia is mandatory.
• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic practice.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to create rapport with diverse clients.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software and related technologies for efficient documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or significant experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
