Job description

Medical Receptionist

Dermatology Practice is seeking an Experienced Medical Receptionist

If you are an experienced medical receptionist and are seeking a position where your talents, teamwork and organizational skills will be recognized and valued, we are looking for you! Those with Dermatology experience are preferred but will train the right candidate!

This is a FULL-TIME position in a gorgeous state-of-the-art-office launched in November 2023. We are seeking an energetic team-oriented individual to work directly with the leadership to start building an amazing practice. This position will be responsible for:

· Check-in, Check out and registration of patients

· Managing all incoming calls, making appointments, directing calls and messages to the team

· Managing incoming emails from referring providers and website contact forms

· Providing exceptional customer service to patients, vendors, and referral sources

· Verify all insurances, benefits and educate the patients on their insurance as needed

· Collect copayments and balances at the time of service

· Posting daily payments

· Enrolling patients in payment programs (Credit card on file or traditional)

· Manage all intake forms patient portal through EMR

· Provide daily accounting of all transactions

· Maintain inventory / ordering office supplies

· Provide patients with recommended skincare products

· Accept all practice inquired and calls; assist as needed including making appointments and triaging questions

Required Experience

· 3+ years working as a Dermatology medical receptionist

· 3+ years of insurance benefit verification including Navinet and Availity

· Strong knowledge of insurance plans including co-payments, co-insurances, and deductibles

· 3 + years working with an Electronic Medical Record

· Dermatology experience is required

· Must have exceptional customer service and ability to multi-task
