Job description

We’re looking for a Senior Oracle Database Analyst for a hybrid role in Richmond, VA.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle DBA – Oracle versions 19c (container base features) – 23ai
  • Experience with Oracle technologies: RAC, TDE, Data Guard, and Oracle Exadata database appliances
  • Experience with 10Tb database systems
  • Enterprise-level Oracle database administration experience with Oracle on Red Hat Linux operating systems, including data migration, data replication, database cloning, user administration, and database backup and recovery
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support multiple Oracle databases on Linux operating systems
  • Responsible for software installation, database creation, support, and administration of Oracle databases
  • Work in collaboration with multiple business units and provide resolution for complex problems across project teams
  • Evaluate and research new database features and technologies
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation supporting a large Oracle environment
  • Monitor and optimize performance issues at the application and database level
Education/Certifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency is required
  • Oracle Certified Professional

The hourly rate for this position is $62.57.
