JOB SUMMARY - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The Medical Education Manager is responsible for developing and executing evidence-based physician education strategies that support safe and effective adoption of AngioDynamics technologies. The role serves as a strategic partner to Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Marketing, and Commercial leadership to translate clinical evidence into impactful educational initiatives that improve physician competency, confidence, and patient outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate and execute physician education programs, workshops and hands-on training events
  • Partner with Medical Affairs to ensure scientific accuracy and balance
  • Support educational activities associated with scientific congresses
  • Coordinate faculty programs, symposia, workshops, and hands-on training opportunities
  • Partner with commercial and medical teams to maximize educational impact from major meetings
  • Implement innovative educational technologies, including AI and other learning platforms
  • Coordinate faculty participation, course logistics, agendas and educational materials
  • Assist in developing annual education calendars for assigned business areas
  • Support resident, fellowship and physician training programs
  • Develop and maintain physician education materials, presentations, procedural resources, and training tools
  • Collaborate with Clinical, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to ensure educational content is accurate, relevant and compliant
  • Support updates to digital education platforms and learning resources
  • Build productive relationships with physicians, faculty and KOLs
  • Coordinate faculty communications and educational planning
  • Support consultant management activities, including contracts and program participation
  • Partner with Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, Quality, Communications, and Commercial team to execute education initiatives
  • Ensure educational activities comply with company policies and industry regulations
  • Collect participation feedback and assist in measuring program effectiveness
  • Manage multiple education projects simultaneously while meeting timelines and budget expectations
  • Track program metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Support additional education initiatives as assigned
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Level of Degree in the business, marketing, sales, education or related field of study
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in medical education, clinical education, medical affairs, physician training, healthcare professional education, or related roles within the medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
  • N/A Certifications Required
  • Any preferred education, experience or certifications: Experience developing and delivering physician or healthcare professional education programs preferred
  • Prefer Experience in: working with physician KOLs. Oncology, urology, interventional oncology, or surgical device experience. Supporting hands-on physician training programs. Adult learning principles. CME and educational grant-supported activities preferred

  • Demonstrated organization skills, detail orientation, and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively; skills are demonstrated while meeting/exceeding quality standards and deadlines
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Must possess creativity and the ability to think outside the conventional wisdom of a current situation to get a mutually beneficial outcome with those involved
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to develop and facilitate training content effectively
  • Proficient in the following computer software applications: Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance. instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • This position requires some travel up to 30% of the time
