Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients to promote open communication and engagement in the counseling process.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, developing tailored treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to encourage healing and personal growth.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans, implementing effective interventions and therapeutic techniques to track patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies using health record systems.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to support referrals and comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor, your client focus will span various demographic groups, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will play a critical role in providing mental health services to families seeking to improve their dynamics and communication, thus impacting the lives of your clients positively.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy.
• Possess strong organizational and time-management skills to manage caseload effectively and fulfill administrative duties.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and collaboration with clients and team members alike.

Preferred Experience

• A background in trauma-informed care is desirable, with a focus on evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems, enhancing documentation and client management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD $90,000 to $110,000 per year, reflecting your experience and commitment to mental health excellence. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
