Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusting relationships with patients, establishing a safe and confidential space for discussions.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat various mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the patient's goals and circumstances, regularly reviewing and adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and efficacy of treatment plans, making adjustments in collaboration with patients to enhance their therapeutic journey.
• Refer clients to appropriate specialists when necessary, ensuring comprehensive care within the healthcare system.
• Document all clinical activities and patient interactions accurately in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families facing challenges related to mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will also play a pivotal role in addressing cultural and socio-economic factors that may impact patients' mental health, allowing for a holistic approach to treatment. Our patient population is diverse, and you will encounter varied backgrounds, making sensitivity and adaptability essential skills in your practice.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, with a preference for candidates who have experience in a community health setting.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills are crucial to ensure the effective management of caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Strong knowledge of current trends and best practices in mental health therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
