Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Alpine Health System, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Establishing and maintaining a positive, therapeutic rapport with clients to encourage openness and engagement in the counseling process.
• Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, while effectively utilizing various counseling modalities.
• Leading both group and individual counseling sessions, focusing on skill-building and coping strategies pertinent to mental health disorders.
• Monitoring client progress through ongoing assessment and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within our clinic to ensure comprehensive care, making referrals to specialists when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse client base, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. You will work with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, often employing culturally sensitive methods to engage clients effectively. Your therapeutic interventions will play a pivotal role in enhancing their emotional resilience and overall mental health.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and/or group therapy is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to balance client care and administrative duties.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of practice is preferred, recent graduates with a strong educational background and internships will be considered. Experience working within a community health setting or with diverse populations will set candidates apart in the selection process. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote therapy practices is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
