Job description

Title: Electrical Reliability Engineer
Location: Charleston, TN
Salary: $ 113,000+
Schedule: 9/80 schedule available
Relocation Available
The Electrical Reliability Engineer plays a critical role in supporting Olin's business objectives by providing technical support and reliability improvements to ongoing plant operations in the area of Power Distribution.
What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, operations, contractors, and vendors to support plant maintenance, outages, turnarounds, and new installations.
  • Provide technical expertise for electrical power distribution, motor controls, and related system documentation, including P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and schematics.
  • Manage and support capital, electrical, and controls projects, including the design and implementation of electrical and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and processes, perform root cause analyses, and develop reliability strategies to improve asset performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement by recommending equipment upgrades, enhancing reliability, and supporting Operational Excellence and Lean manufacturing initiatives.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor of Science Degree* in Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology; Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in a position working with electrical and power distribution, 5+ years' experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Honeywell, Allen Bradley, PLCs, and/or HMI.
  • Knowledge of NEC and NFPA electrical codes.
  • Prior utilization of SAP and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in a manufacturing process environment, ideally a chemical manufacturer or refinery, with direct knowledge and experience in ISO9001/RC14001 standards and procedures.
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
