Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patient mobility, assessing physical capabilities and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities designed to alleviate pain and enhance functionality.
• Provide one-on-one treatment to 1-2 patients per hour, carefully tracking progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to ensure effective rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on best practices for injury prevention, recovery strategies, and the importance of adherence to prescribed treatment regimes.
• Document all clinical interactions and patient progress thoroughly within electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain accurate and comprehensive patient files.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic mainly includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master’s or Doctorate level is preferred.
• An active or eligible Physical Therapist (PT) license in Texas is mandatory.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal disorders is essential.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to work as part of a multidisciplinary team are critical to achieve effective patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience with patient education and rehabilitation program development is a plus.
• Additional certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy (e.g., orthopedics, sports therapy) will be highly regarded.
