Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients using standardized assessment tools.
  • Collaboratively create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals, preferences, and progress, adjusting as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, promoting psychological well-being and active participation in their recovery journeys.
  • Monitor and document client progress, ensuring treatment plans are data-driven and evidence-informed to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for our clients.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continually enhance the effectiveness of therapeutic strategies.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical requirements, ensuring all client records are up-to-date and secure.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to foster an environment of learning and growth.
  • Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work towards reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults experiencing a range of mood disorders and addiction challenges, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health issues and a commitment to fostering a safe and nonjudgmental therapeutic space. Your work will significantly impact the clients’ recovery, focusing on developing coping strategies and building resilience to support their long-term wellness and sobriety.

Qualifications
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary to ensure a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential to developing trusting relationships with clients and facilitating effective therapy.
  • Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach toward clients’ experiences and mental health struggles.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with clients who have mood disorders and addiction is highly desirable, enriching your capability to address various therapeutic needs.

Compensation and Benefits
  • The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
