This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, partnering cross-functionally with FP&A, Sales Operations, and Billing, and driving operational excellence across the revenue cycle.This position will lead a team of five high performing individuals and report into the Global Controller organization. You will play a key leadership role in supporting financial reporting, audits, and process transformation initiatives.**Key Responsibilities****Revenue Accounting & Close*** Lead the global revenue accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606* Manage the month-end close process for revenue, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages* Ensure timely and high-quality balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses**Technical Accounting & Compliance*** Interpret and apply U.S. GAAP revenue accounting guidance to complex SaaS and multi-element arrangements* Maintain and document revenue accounting policies and procedures* Support internal and external audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses**Cross-Functional Partnership*** Partner closely with FP&A, Sales Ops, and Billing teams to ensure accurate contract interpretation and revenue treatment**Process Improvement & Systems*** Drive automation and process improvements across the revenue cycle to improve efficiency and accuracy* Support system enhancements and implementations (e.g., billing, revenue recognition tools)**Leadership & Team Development*** Lead, mentor, and develop a team of revenue accountants* Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and control-focused team environment**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)* 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on revenue accounting* Strong knowledge of ASC 606 / SaaS/ License/ Professional Service revenue recognition* Experience managing global or multi-entity revenue processes* Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements* Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and SalesForce/Certinia a plus* Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills**Why Join Accruent*** High-impact leadership role within a growing global finance organization* Opportunity to drive transformation in revenue accounting processes and systems* Collaborative culture with strong cross-functional partnership* Competitive compensation, bonus, and benefits#LI-CS23**Fortive Corporation Overview**Fortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
