Testing Services Consultantsare experienced professionals who play a critical role in safeguarding and improving the quality of SimCorp client solutions by delivering structured,highqualitytesting services andbestpracticetesting approaches across SimCorp Dimension and related platforms.Theirwork directly supports earlierdefectdetection, increased test coverage, and higher levels of test automation. By applying standard testing frameworks,leveragingautomation where possible, andmaintainingdeep knowledge ofclientspecificbusiness flows,theyhelp reduce risk during releases, improveenduserexperience, and strengthen overall client confidence inSimCorp'ssolutions.

The Lead Testing Consultant, acting as an individual contributor within the team,providesstrategic leadershipandtakesownership of the analysis and clarification of complex business and functional requirements and ensures early identification of risks, dependencies, and quality impacts.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Leadingstrategic analysis ofhighly complexbusiness, functional, and technical requirements, shaping testing direction across large, highrisk, or multistream initiatives

  • Acting as a senior trusted advisor to clients, senior stakeholders, and internal leadership, influencing decisions related to quality, risk management, delivery models, and testing investment

  • Defining, governing, and continuously evolving testing strategies and quality frameworks to ensure alignment with organizational standards, client expectations, and longterm service maturity

  • Synthesizing test outcomes, quality risks, and systemic issues across initiatives, translating them into clear insights and recommendations that support executivelevel decisionmaking

  • Leading complex incident and defect management from a holistic quality perspective, driving rootcause analysis, crossteam alignment, and sustainable improvements to prevent recurrence

  • Contributing to the advancement of Testing Services by defining best practices, mentoring senior consultants, supporting capability development, and shaping how testing is delivered across the organization

  • Taking leadership on the project, defining scope, ensuring the initiativeremainson track, and contributing to overall project optimization

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Educational background in STEM or Finance

  • Financialknowledgeininvestmentbankingandaccounting

  • Know-howin at least one of the following areas: Front Office, Back Office, Accountingprocessesor Financial Transaction Workflows

  • 8-10years ofexperience in software testing or a comparable background

  • Practical coding experience (C# preferred; Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell also welcome) or strong techsavviness

  • Experience in creating test automation scripts and scenarios is highly welcome

  • Experienceinusageofversioningcontrol(Git/Azure DevOps or similar)

  • Hands-onexperienceworkingwithinAgilemethodology

  • Strong analytical judgment and translating complexity into clear direction

  • Leading with ownership and a solutionfocused mindset, proactively managing risks and outcomes

  • Building client trust through confident decisions and consistent delivery excellence

  • Maintaining clarity, prioritization, and quality under pressure

  • Elevating team performance through collaboration, coaching, and knowledgesharing

  • Driving continuous improvement with a growthoriented, forwardlooking mindset

  • Adapting easily to change andoperateswith flexibility in dynamic environments

  • Communicating with clarity, authority, and strong consulting presence

  • Fluency in English (min. B2+ or C1)
