Power BI Developer
100% Remote
Summary
We are seeking a data-driven BI Developer with strong PowerBI experience to develop reports and dashboards that empower a wide variety of customers to make informed business decisions. You will collaborate closely with other teams to implement industry-leading data visualizations that provide our customers with a deep understanding of their data, what it means, and how they can use it. You'll also be working with data in Snowflake, so looking for someone interested in working with cloud based data warehouses.

Summary
We are seeking a data-driven BI Developer with strong PowerBI experience to develop reports and dashboards that empower a wide variety of customers to make informed business decisions. You will collaborate closely with other teams to implement industry-leading data visualizations that provide our customers with a deep understanding of their data, what it means, and how they can use it. You'll also be working with data in Snowflake, so looking for someone interested in working with cloud based data warehouses.
What you'll be doing
- Take the lead to bring a dashboard through its lifecycle, from concept to wireframe to implementation through to end-user acceptance
- Design, build, prototype, and deploy Power BI solutions
- Translate business needs into technical specifications
- Conduct and support whiteboarding sessions, workshops, design sessions, and project meetings as needed
- Researches and develops new algorithms and statistical techniques based on customer needs
- Work in partnership with business analysts, application architect, application developers to build data transactions and warehousing systems
- Make effective and decisive decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
- 2+ years of experience with BI Development
- Must have strong Power BI experience
- Must have solid SQL experience (writing SQL queries, working with SQL databases to gather data to develop dashboards/reports with)
- Must have at least some experience working with cloud data warehouses, ideally Snowflake OR Python experience (you'll use both here, but we can help you ramp up on one if you come in with experience with the other)
