Sales & Design Center Manager in  GAC Savannah

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 8 years experience in sales support, customer service, or related field. Management or Supervisory experience preferred.. Position Purpose: Manage operations of the Savannah Sales and Design Center coordinating activity of all users including Leadership Team, Jet Sales, Service Sales, Completions Design, Sales Engineering, Sales Support, Sales Administration, Marketing, and Customer Service. Overall goal is to accelerate the sales process and motivate purchase of Gulfstream Aircraft. Plan and administer corporate events for General Dynamics and Gulfstream which are located in the Savannah area or other Gulfstream sites as assigned.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
  1. Manage team of users to facilitate all customer activity in the Savannah Sales and Design Center.
  2. In coordination with Sales Division VPs, Customer Completion Design and Delivery Team, Sales Assistants, and sales support teams, develops strategy using the Sales and Design Center to accelerate customers decision making toward the purchase of Gulfstream aircraft.
  3. Single point of contact responsible for successful execution of customer and prospect visits in the Sales and Design Center. .
  4. Development of Savannah Sales Design Center operations processes and procedures, coordination and planning of all meetings, completion of documentation defining all aspects of planned visits, chairing planning meetings, development of visit agendas, meal menus, coordinating support of all departments required. to accomplish the objectives of customer visits, chairing the final debrief meeting after each customer activity, documentation of the process, recording action items, and keeping executive management up to date on progress.
  5. Provides day-to-day support and direction to all departments with regard to customer visit standards; visit coordination procedures; facility access procedures; dining room procedures; and all other customer-related questions, issues and/or concerns.
  6. Prepare minutes of meetings and/or action item lists for follow up.
  7. Prepare reports and presentations utilizing Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  8. Manage operations staff in all personnel matters.
  9. Plan, execute and manage all corporate events such as Gulfstream quarterly business review meetings.
Additional Functions:
  1. Supervises, coordinates and helps execute all detailed aspects of Level One Customer Visits and corporate events to provide an exceptional customer experience. .
  2. Researches the customs and cultural aspects of Gulfstreams International Customers. .
  3. Promotes and maintains a positive rapport between Customers, other Gulfstream employees and local service suppliers to enhance customer satisfaction during Customer and VIP Visits. .
  4. Provides feedback to Management regarding customers perceptions and satisfaction levels. .
Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements:
  1. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  2. Proven computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  3. Must possess initiative, poise, persistence and ability to gather information under many diverse conditions.
  4. Must be flexible with scheduling and mandatory overtime requirements.
  5. Strong organization and problem solving skills with the ability to be creative and resourceful in dealing with constant varying requirements and situations.
  6. Constant interface with customers, visitors, dignitaries, and GAC employees at all levels. Must possess the ability to deal with customers and GAC staff in a diplomatic, pleasant, congenial, and professional manner.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
