Job Summary

The Director for Cybersecurity Operations at Jabil, Inc. will lead and manage the global cybersecurity operations team, ensuring the effective protection of Jabil's information assets, systems, and data. This role is critical in developing and implementing advanced security strategies, incident response plans, and security monitoring capabilities to proactively defend against cyber threats and minimize risk across the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of cybersecurity professionals responsible for security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve Jabil's cybersecurity operations strategy, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee the 24/7 security operations center (SOC) to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage and enhance Jabil's incident response program, including playbooks, escalation procedures, and post-incident analysis.
  • Direct vulnerability management activities, including regular scanning, penetration testing, and remediation tracking.
  • Evaluate, select, and deploy cybersecurity technologies and tools to strengthen Jabil's defensive posture.
  • Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and business units to ensure security requirements are integrated into business processes and systems.
  • Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of cybersecurity operations to senior leadership.
  • Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, and security technologies to inform and adapt Jabil's security strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC).
  • Manage the cybersecurity operations budget, optimizing resource allocation and technology investments.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing security operations.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing global cybersecurity teams.
  • Deep expertise in security operations center (SOC) management, incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
  • Strong understanding of various cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
  • Experience with a wide range of security technologies, including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, DLP, and cloud security platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decisionโ€‘making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and nonโ€‘technical audiences.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or global enterprise environment is a plus.
