Job description

Position:
Transylvania County Schools seeks a Special Education program teacher at Pisgah Forest Elementary School. 
Job Summary:
Position is available August 17, 2026. Position is full-time and includes employment benefits plus a local supplement of 9.0%; 10-month employment term. Teacher will serve students in inclusion classes and support the regular education curriculum. 
Qualifications:
Applicants for the position must hold or be eligible to hold NC licensure in area 88091 Special Education: General Curriculum.
