Construction Superintendent – Direct Multi-Sector Field Operations, Quality Control, and Subcontractor Logistics


Job Overview

  • Location: On-site – Parma, OH.
  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (Additional hours as needed to meet project demands).
  • Project Scope: General Construction Operations.
  • Mandatory Licences & Certifications: None Required.


The Opportunity

You will take absolute command of on-site operations, executing complete field management from initial jobsite mobilization to final building turnover. This high-impact role gives you the professional autonomy to lead diverse trade crews, enforce stringent structural quality control policies, and dictate short-interval production schedules. You will directly safeguard construction margins, client relationships, and structural integrity across a dynamic regional build portfolio.


How You Will Make An Impact

  • Coordinate, supervise, and organize all active construction labor and subcontractor operations on the job site daily.
  • Establish and maintain an immaculate, productive, and highly organized physical jobsite layout and field office.
  • Direct field teams to execute structural builds strictly on schedule, within budget parameters, and in accordance with design blueprints.
  • Formulate and update master project schedules, proactively identifying logistical bottlenecks to implement real-time corrections.
  • Manage critical project procurement metrics by ordering structural materials and coordinating mandated municipal inspections.
  • Enforce absolute compliance with OSHA safety regulations and the corporate Safety and Loss Control Program.
  • Perform meticulous, multi-phase quality control inspections in strict compliance with the corporate policies and procedures manual.
  • Partner with Project Managers to compile field progress tracking documentation and support the client draw process.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven history operating as an On-Site Superintendent, field manager, or equivalent construction supervisor.
  • Deep operational understanding of construction field operations, complex scheduling sequences, and quality control auditing.
  • Technical capability to lead diverse crews, schedule multi-tier subcontractors, and manage active inspection cycles.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, risk mitigation strategies, and hazard identification.
  • Advanced personal organization, technical communication capabilities, and experience managing comprehensive site documentation.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong practical carpentry background encompassing both rough structural framing and advanced finish trades.
  • Prior experience supervising diverse public, commercial, or residential projects with varying layout constraints.
  • Familiarity with modern construction management software and digital tools for tracking real-time project metrics.
