JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Central Pennsylvania Research and Teaching Laboratory for Biofuels (CPRTLB) is looking to hire part-time research assistants to assist with metabolic engineering of industrial hemp.
Job Duties
  • Preparation of tissue culture media, growth hormones and culture of explants under sterile conditions.
  • Assist with DNA, RNA and Protein isolation.
  • Routine upkeep of the laboratory and Greehouse.
  • Collect, analyze data and involve in publishing papers as co- authors.
  • Assist with working on cancer cell lines and engineering cannabinoid pathway genes in E.Coli.
  • Assist PI and Director of the laboratory with other duties as assigned.
