Job Description

  • Lead access flooring projects from estimating and bid review through contract administration, execution, billing, and closeout.
  • Review RFPs, drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate material and labor take-offs and project cost estimates.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and project walkthroughs while identifying scope, schedule, and cost considerations.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing and contracted scope, and support construction contract administration.
  • Develop project work orders, material lists, budgets, submittals, and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, deliverables, and installation requirements with labor and warehouse teams.
  • Interpret construction plans and project details for field personnel and installation teams.
  • Visit active job sites to monitor progress, participate in project meetings, and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Track project schedules, costs, and deliverables to keep work on time and within budget.
  • Prepare change orders and extra work proposals while identifying opportunities and protecting project profitability.
  • Manage billing activities, applications for payment, and required project closeout documentation.
  • Represent our team professionally with architects, engineers, general contractors, clients, and other industry partners throughout New England.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of construction project management or related construction experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent commercial construction experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel throughout New England.
  • Commercial interiors, flooring, renovation, facilities, estimating, bidding, MEP, or client-facing project experience is a plus.
