Now Hiring: Full-Time Zund Operator  
LocationLas Vegas, NV 
Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
 
Job Summary: 
We are a well-respected document solutions and digital printing company that specializes in services and technology to help businesses manage, print, store, and digitally transform their documents and workflows, who is searching for an experienced Zund Operator to join our team. The Zünd Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Zünd digital cutting systems to produce high-quality finished products according to job specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read production files, and close collaboration with the production and prepress teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
· Set up and operate Zünd cutting tables (tool selection, material setup, calibration) 
· Load, review, and verify cut files to ensure accuracy with work orders and artwork 
· Cut a variety of materials including vinyl, sintra, foam board, acrylic, corrugated plastic, and other substrates 
· Perform quality checks to ensure clean cuts, correct dimensions, and minimal waste. 
· Communicate with prepress and production teams regarding file issues, material concerns, or job adjustments 
· Maintain a clean and organized work area around the cutting table 
· Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting 
· Track job progress and update production status as required 
· Follow all safety procedures and company policies 
· Assist with finishing, routing, or other production tasks as needed 
· Laminate 
· Operate Canon Colorado printer 
· Deliver Jobs
 
Required Skills & Qualifications: 
· Experience operating Zünd or similar CNC digital cutting equipment preferred 
· Ability to read work orders, production specs, and basic technical drawings 
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality 
· Basic computer skills (file navigation, production software) 
· Ability to lift and handle large or heavy materials 
· Good time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
· Team-oriented with clear communication skills
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
· Previous experience in large-format printing or sign production 
· Familiarity with routing tools, kiss-cutting, creasing, and scoring 
· Knowledge of material properties and best cutting practices
 
Physical Requirements: 
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time 
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
· Frequent bending, reaching, and material handling
 
Work Environment: 
· Production shop environment with machinery and noise 
· May require overtime or weekend shifts based on workload
 
Performance Expectations: 
· Consistent production quality with minimal errors or rework 
· Adherence to production schedules and safety standards 
· Professional communication and teamwork
