Job description

Job Summary:
Capital Solutions Group (CSG) is searching for a Zero Trust Systems Engineer to provide technical support and systems engineering support to the ICAM/Zero Trust team. The role involves defining ICAM products for Zero Trust security implementations, conducting technology assessments, and creating necessary documentation while assisting software developers with requirement tracking and testing support.
Responsibilities:
• researching and analyzing cloud security environments
• identifying capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services
• providing implementation processes, tools, and techniques, and hardware and software considerations
• Provide technical expertise in industry standards, and federal and DoD policies
• Create and maintain ICAM Zero Trust documentation to include release notes, installation and user guides, frameworks, SOPs, and plans in accordance with Zero Trust mandates
• Will also assist the software developers with: tracking requirements, sprint planning, and scheduling, support to design changes, and testing support
Qualifications:
Required:
• SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with both Polygraphs are required
• Bachelor’s Degree + 10 years of Systems Engineering experience, OR No Degree + 14 years of Systems Engineering experience
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines
• Provide technical support and systems engineering support to the ICAM/Zero Trust team
• Support the definition of ICAM products to support Zero Trust(ZT) security implementations
• Work within the ZT ICAM team and with the existing ICAM capability teams to perform capabilities/requirements definition, architecture and design, technology assessments, and support risk mitigation assessments
• Researching and analyzing cloud security environments
• Identifying capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services
• Providing implementation processes, tools, and techniques, and hardware and software considerations
• Provide technical expertise in industry standards, and federal and DoD policies
• Create and maintain ICAM Zero Trust documentation to include release notes, installation and user guides, frameworks, SOPs, and plans in accordance with Zero Trust mandates
• Assist the software developers with: tracking requirements, sprint planning, and scheduling, support to design changes, and testing support
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
• Knowledge of CAPCO and CUI Standards
• Knowledge of ABAC and ICAM Capabilities and integration
• Experience with SW development methodologies
• Ability to solve complex system/integration problems
• Experience briefing senior-level management
• Demonstrated engineering experience on programs with requirements, functional analysis, and allocation, conducting system requirement reviews, developing CONOPS and system architectures
• CERTIFICATION: any of the SANs certification around security (ie: CISSP certification) is highly desired but not required
