Multi-Language Production Intern (Post-Production)

Unpaid Internship for College/University Credit Only

Bang Zoom! Studios - Audio Post-Production


Looking to build hands-on experience in post-production for anime, television, and video games?

Bang Zoom! Studios is an award-winning audio post-production studio specializing in English and foreign-language dubbing for anime and animation, as well as voice-over recording, casting, and sound design for anime, video games, film, television, and other media.


Language Requirement

Applicants must demonstrate high proficiency in at least one of the following languages:

  • Spanish
  • Portuguese
  • French
  • German
  • Italian


Internship Eligibility & Requirements (Please Read Carefully)

This internship is structured as an educational experience tied to an academic program and is designed to align with applicable federal and state guidelines for unpaid internships.

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, trade school, or vocational program
  • Receive academic credit for participation (verification may be required)
  • Be seeking an internship as part of an educational program
  • Submit a cover letter (applications without a cover letter will not be considered)

Priority will be given to students who require an internship for graduation.


Educational Purpose of the Internship

This internship provides students with practical learning experience in post-production within a professional studio environment. The program emphasizes training, observation, mentorship, and skill development.

Interns will:

  • Gain exposure to studio workflows and production support
  • Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced production professionals
  • Participate in supervised educational activities that reflect real-world industry practices

Interns do not displace employees. Tasks and responsibilities are designed to support learning objectives and may vary based on departmental needs.


Time Commitment

  • Minimum of 2 days per week (Monday-Friday)
  • Approximately 8 hours per day (coordinated with academic requirements)
  • Minimum commitment of 10-13 weeks
  • Typical hours between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (including a 1-hour meal break)
  • Multiple studio locations; reliable transportation is required


What You'll Learn & Assist With

Audio & Production Exposure

  • Observe and assist with multi-language production workflows, as appropriate
  • Assist with multi-language dubbing development and related production processes

Professional Development

  • Learn professional studio etiquette, workflow, and collaboration practices
  • Develop organizational and time-management skills
  • Receive constructive feedback and mentorship from industry professionals

Who You Are

  • A currently enrolled student seeking academic credit
  • Interested in post-production for film, television, animation, or video games
  • Highly proficient in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, or Italian
  • Professional, dependable, and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Positive, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Good follow-through once a directive is given
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a studio environment

Interest in anime, localization, or Japanese culture is a plus.
