Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing professional clients (e.g., dermatologists, plastic surgeons, med spas).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, product recommendations, and order placements.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account potential.
  • Reach out to prospective clients to introduce ZO Skin Health's product portfolio.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and communicate key benefits to clients.
  • Educate clients on ZO Skin Health protocols, best practices, and retail opportunities.
  • Collaborate with field sales representatives to support customer needs and align on territory strategies.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and trends within the assigned region.
  • Process and track orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Resolve customer issues and escalate concerns as needed to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain records of interactions, sales activities, and results using CRM tools.
  • Prepare reports on account performance and pipeline management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 2-3 years in inside sales, B2B sales, or account management, preferably in the skincare or beauty industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • CRM Salesforce experience preferred
  • Knowledge of professional skincare products and industry trends.
  • Previous experience working with dermatologists or med spas.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Adaptive, responsive individual able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment; handles pressures well; adjusts plans to meet changing needs.

Work Environment: The work environment is indoors in a professional office environment. The floor surfaces are carpeted in office areas and conference rooms with vinyl floor covering typical in hallways, break rooms and computer rooms. Occasionally, they may work in a warehouse environment, as part of a project, and/or in the field with outside sales.

Work Hours: The work schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Initial start time may vary, with work hours typically from 8am-5pm. Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs. The position resides in Orange County but is hybrid with 2 days being remote work.

Physical and Mental Demands: Sedentary, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, or negligible amounts of force frequently, to move objects. This job also requires constant sitting. Constant use of the upper extremities is required to reach, handle, and position tools and equipment. The employee must know and follow proper safety protocols and maintain a professional and polished appearance. They must be able to efficiently use Microsoft Office Programs and Project Management systems to retrieve information, generate documents, organize project plans/schedules and coordinate meetings. The employee must also be able to maintain and preserve confidentiality of company information, exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders, including international affiliates.
