Job description

Test Systems Technical Lead Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Tucson, AZ. Contract Length: 6-12 months **Candidate must have an Active Secret Clearance to be considered** Job Description: We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position of Principal Test Systems Technical Lead Engineer. This position will provide for an experience in a lab environment to work with weapon test system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to help support test and tactical software development, testing, and delivery of missiles to the warfighter. We are a diverse team of innovators, creators and strategists drawing inspiration from each other every day. We collaborate, iterate, and execute with an eye toward inclusivity, the company mission and personal career growth. Responsibilities: * Communicate regularly with the program Integrated Product Team Leader (IPTL). * Responsible for the Technical Execution of the program. * Work directly with the Program Manager/IPTL to establish and complete program milestones. * Lead a multi-disciplinary team in an engineering environment. * Develop and participate in presentations for gate reviews. * Attend Failure Review Boards (FRBs) when required. * Attend Change Control Boards (CCBs) and approve system changes. * Report status metrics for your team to stakeholders. * Define program requirements in a multi-disciplinary team. * As the lead, you will be expected to provide training, as needed, understand the scope, cost and schedule of the Program and define/delegate tasking for your team. * Travel up to 20% to support development and/or delivery of our test environment equipment. Hours:8:00am to 5:00pm Education: * Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years' prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree and 5 years of experience. * Experience with the functionalities of Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience for both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance activities within production, manufacturing, product qualification environments. * Experience with design, development and/or integration of test equipment. * Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security clearance (not interim) is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
