Job description

Yoh has an exciting contract opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to join our Entertainment Technology client in Glendale, CA. This role is ideal for candidates within a commutable distance to Glendale and able to work onsite 4 days per week.

Compensation: $70-80/hr W2

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive execution across Product, Engineering, Design, and Business teams, proactively identifying and resolving risks, dependencies, and delivery bottlenecks before they impact outcomes.
  • Bring clarity and structure to complex, cross-functional initiatives by establishing clear ownership, accountability, and decision-making processes in ambiguous environments.
  • Partner closely with Engineering leadership to ensure delivery plans are realistic, sustainable, and aligned with technical capacity.
  • Serve as the connective tissue across multiple teams, driving alignment, communication, and follow-through on shared commitments.
  • Maintain a single, trusted source of truth for product initiatives, roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, and execution status.
  • Lead core planning and operating rhythms, including quarterly planning, roadmap reviews, status reporting, and ongoing execution governance.
  • Continuously improve planning processes, collaboration models, and organizational transparency to support a high-performing product organization.
  • Build and evolve the program management function as the organization grows, with the opportunity to mentor and potentially lead a small team.
Qualifications
  • 7–10+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs within digital product, e-commerce, SaaS, consumer technology, or related environments.
  • Demonstrated success bringing structure, accountability, and operational excellence to organizations undergoing growth or transformation.
  • Strong execution mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity while introducing lightweight, scalable processes that enable rather than hinder delivery.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and experience partnering closely with engineering teams to manage delivery risk and execution planning.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
  • Experience designing and implementing program management practices, operating models, and governance frameworks from the ground up.
  • Proficiency with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting digital commerce, retail, consumer products, media, or other customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Experience working within large enterprise organizations or rapidly scaling product organizations.
  • Previous experience building or maturing a Program Management Office (PMO) or Product Operations function.
