Our company is structured across 2 divisions - the Display Case Division, located in North Prairie, WI, Waukesha, WI, and Mukwonago, WI and the Refrigeration Systems Division, located in Ramsey, MN and Dyersville, IA.

What Will You Do?
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, an Electrical Control Tester will terminate and route wires as well as conducting electrical function tests of refrigeration systems utilizing electrical test equipment and wiring schematics per engineered drawings and customer specifications. The following are the essential duties and responsibilities you can expect to do:
  • Coordinate all aspects of electrical layout per design documentation and wiring schematics on assigned projects
  • Perform electrical processes to meet Zero Zone standards
  • Determine mounting of major components for the electrical system including rack controllers, transformers, auxiliary panels, variable frequency drives, etc.
  • Wire pressure switches, solenoid valves, compressors, and other auxiliary devices.
  • Work in unison with other departments to meet organizational goals
  • Assist in training additional team members
  • Maintain a positive work environment and reinforce the team approach with co-workers
  • Interact professionally with all departments, vendors, and customers for the betterment of Zero Zone

What Are We Looking For?
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of you for this position:
  • An Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with 1-3 years electrical related experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience with high voltage electrical equipment up to 480V is required.
  • Prompt and regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Comfortable using hand/power tools and willing learn and take directions.
  • Experience with hand tools, reading documentation (blueprints, written instructions/procedures), and measuring tools is required.
  • Additional attributes needed are detail and quality oriented, dependable, and self-motivated, which could lead to cross training and growth opportunities.
  • Employee must regularly stand, walk, reach, stoop, lift, climb or balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and must regularly lift and/or move up to 45 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 45 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include distance vision, close vision, peripheral vision, & depth perception.
