What you'll do

  • Production Operations:Perform essential foundry production activities including preparing molds, setup tasks, and eventually pouring molten metal into molds. Daily responsibilities include safely handling molten metal and ensuring efficient casting processes. Success means safely progressing through training milestones and contributing to meeting production targets.
  • Training and Development:Engage in a structured progression program to develop skills from mold preparation to qualified pouring responsibilities, demonstrating reliability and accountability throughout.
  • Safety and Cleanliness:Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following strict safety protocols and upholding a zero-harm culture. This includes cleaning and chipping ladles and ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
  • Operational Support:Support foundry operations to maintain continuity despite staffing shortages, directly contributing to operational goals.
  • Travel Requirements:Minimal to no travel is expected for this onsite role.
  • Safety First:Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
