Job description

Ice Maintenance
  • Operate ice resurfacing equipment (Zamboni or Olympia) to clean and resurface the ice sheet before, during, and after sessions.
  • Monitor ice quality and make adjustments to water levels, blade depth, and edging as needed.
  • Perform edging, shaving, and patching to maintain ice integrity.
  • Maintain logs of resurfacings, ice temps, and equipment maintenance.

Facility Operations & Maintenance
  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning locker rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and player benches.
  • Monitor building systems (lighting, refrigeration, HVAC, and fire alarms) and report issues to management.
  • Assist with snow removal from ice resurfacer bays and outdoor walkways.
  • Support setup and breakdown for events, games, or rentals.

Equipment Care
  • Conduct pre- and post-use checks on the ice resurfacer.
  • Clean, refuel, and safely store equipment after each use.
  • Assist with routine maintenance or minor repairs.

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort with machinery.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and operate equipment responsibly.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, position is nights and weekends.
