Job description

Arena Zamboni Driver - Part-Time, Seasonal
This is a part-time position at the Trinity Health Arena (formerly L.C. Walker Arena) for the Lumberjacks Hockey games and other events.
The Zamboni driver is responsible for the safe operation of the ice arena facility Zamboni, with secondary responsibilities of custodial/maintenance duties, ensuring that the ice area facility is immaculate and well groomed.
The shifts are generally 5 hours. Approximately 20-25 hours per week
Job duties:
  • Must be able to operate and maintain the ice-resurfacer, ice edger, and other ice-related equipment successfully
  • Must be able to maintain the ice on the rink in a manner that provides a level, smooth, safe, and high-quality ice in accordance with facility standards
  • Must perform locker room checks for basic cleanliness
  • Must monitor players and parents
  • Must empty garbage as needed
  • Must be reliable
