Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK-8th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Yuma, AZ. This full-time, onsite position spans from early August 2026 through late May 2027, offering the chance to positively impact the communication skills and educational outcomes of young learners. With three available positions at a single school site, you'll be an essential part of a collaborative educational team.
Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Hold current SLP-CCC credentials
  • Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona
  • Possess an active Arizona Educator Certificate
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Recent school-based SLP experience, preferably across PreK through 8th grade
  • Commitment to full-time, onsite presence throughout the contract duration
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive SLP services including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for a diverse caseload (to be determined)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' academic and social success
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster optimal student development
  • Maintain thorough service documentation in alignment with district and state guidelines
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team planning
