Job description

Social Media Coordinator – Short-Form Video & AI Content

Location: Buckhead, Atlanta, GA — 100% In-Office

Part-time to start with. Converts to a full-time position for the right candidate.

We are looking for a creative, internet-native Social Media Coordinator who understands what makes people stop scrolling, watch, share, and engage.

This is a 100% in-office position based at our office in Buckhead, Atlanta, GA. This is not a remote or hybrid role.

The role is heavily focused on creating viral short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok. We want someone who can take a simple product, idea, trend, or hook and turn it into entertaining, relatable, and highly shareable content.

The ideal candidate is naturally creative, follows internet culture closely, and is comfortable experimenting with AI-powered video generation tools and models to create compelling content quickly.

What You'll Do

  • Develop creative concepts for TikTok and Instagram Reels, with a strong focus on reach, engagement, shares, and virality.
  • Brainstorm thumb-stopping hooks, storylines, skits, POVs, street-interview concepts, memes, and UGC-style videos.
  • Write short-form video scripts, dialogue, captions, and on-screen text.
  • Create and produce short-form videos from concept through final post.
  • Stay on top of TikTok, Instagram, meme, creator, and internet trends and quickly adapt relevant trends for our brands.
  • Use AI tools to generate realistic, entertaining, and engaging video content.
  • Write and refine detailed AI prompts for characters, scenes, camera movements, dialogue, environments, and visual styles.
  • Experiment with AI video platforms such as Higgsfield and other leading AI video-generation tools and models.
  • Understand the strengths and limitations of different AI video models and select the right tool or workflow for each creative idea.
  • Combine AI-generated footage, traditional footage, voiceovers, captions, music, and editing to create polished social content.
  • Generate multiple creative variations and test different hooks, openings, scripts, captions, and formats.
  • Review video performance and use the results to improve future content.
  • Help build a repeatable content pipeline while continuously testing new creative ideas.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video culture.
  • A genuinely creative thinker who can consistently come up with unusual, funny, relatable, or attention-grabbing ideas.
  • Good instinct for what makes someone stop scrolling within the first 1–3 seconds.
  • Ability to identify trends without simply copying them.
  • Strong writing skills for short, natural, conversational scripts and hooks.
  • Comfortable participating in video production and working with people on camera.
  • Basic-to-strong short-form video editing skills.
  • Ability to independently take an idea from concept → script → production → edit → publish.
  • Comfortable experimenting, moving quickly, and producing multiple creative variations rather than over-polishing one idea.
  • Must be able to work 100% in-office at our Buckhead, Atlanta location.

  • AI Experience — Preferred

Experience with generative AI is a major plus. We are especially interested in candidates who have:

    • Experience using Higgsfield or similar AI video-generation platforms.
    • Familiarity with multiple AI video-generation models and an understanding of their different strengths and limitations.
    • Strong prompt-engineering skills, particularly for image and video generation.
    • Experience maintaining consistent characters, environments, and visual styles across AI-generated scenes.
    • Experience creating realistic AI influencers, UGC-style content, cinematic scenes, or talking-character videos.
    • Familiarity with text-to-video, image-to-video, AI voice generation, lip-syncing, AI image generation, and related creative workflows.
    • Curiosity about new AI creative tools and a habit of experimenting with new models as they become available.

You do not need to be an AI engineer. We care much more about whether you can creatively use AI tools to produce content people actually want to watch.

    The Person We're Looking For

You probably spend more time than you should on TikTok or Reels — but you can explain why one video gets 5,000 views and another gets 5 million.

You notice hooks, editing styles, memes, sounds, comments, storytelling patterns, and emerging trends before most people do.

Most importantly, you don't wait for someone to hand you a content calendar full of ideas. You are the person coming up with the ideas.

We're looking for someone who is willing to experiment, occasionally make something weird, learn from what doesn't work, and keep trying until something takes off.

    Bonus Points

    • You've created a TikTok, Reel, or Short that received significant organic reach.
    • You have your own TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or creator account.
    • You've created AI-generated videos that look realistic enough that viewers have to ask whether they're real.
    • You understand UGC-style advertising and direct-response creative.
    • You follow new AI video models, creators, and tools closely.
    • You understand social media analytics and can use performance data to improve creative decisions.

    How We'll Measure Success

Success in this role isn't simply about how many posts you publish. We'll look at:

Views. Watch time. Shares. Comments. Saves. Follower growth. And most importantly — whether you're consistently creating content people actually want to watch.

We want someone who approaches social media as a combination of creativity, experimentation, storytelling, AI, and data — with the goal of repeatedly finding ideas capable of breaking through.
