Position Summary

We are seeking a creative and compassionate Video Production and Digital Media Intern to assist in creating engaging video profiles of individuals with developmental disabilities. This internship provides hands-on experience in video production, interviewing, storytelling, and content creation while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients, families, and staff to learn about individual stories and accomplishments.
  • Assist in planning, filming, and editing short video profiles.
  • Conduct interviews in a respectful, person-centered manner.
  • Capture footage of clients participating in daily activities, work, recreation, and community engagement.
  • Edit video content for social media, website, and advocacy purposes.
  • Organize and maintain video files and project materials.
  • Ensure all content reflects client dignity, choice, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Collaborate with staff to identify meaningful stories and project opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Current student or recent graduate in Communications, Film, Digital Media, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Experience with video production and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Creative storytelling skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation preferred.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
