Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in spend management and budget planning cycles.
  • Takes initiative and able to manage with ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment. Experience in infrastructure resource types and financial modeling.
  • Exceptional communication and people-management skills, comfort and experience with regularly presenting to executive management.
  • Ability to set objectives and drive to results while building long-term relationships across organizational boundaries.
  • Strong background in finance, financial narrative development, and ROI analysis.

  • Serve as the primary finance contact for YouTube's Infrastructure teams. Build strong relationships with technical leaders to understand their roadmaps, issues, and resource needs.
  • Partner with engineering to develop business cases and ROI analysis for resource requests during infrastructure planning cycles. Identify and implement improvements to infrastructure-related financial processes, data pipelines, and reporting.
  • Lead YouTube Long-Range Plan (LRP) and annual planning processes for TPUs, Standard Fleet, and Network, integrating GenAI narratives and sizing efficiency opportunities.
  • Drive analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within infrastructure spending. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor resource utilization and cost trends.
  • Deliver insightful monthly and quarterly financial reporting and variance analysis to business partners and Finance leadership. Clearly communicate complex financial information and provide actionable recommendations.
