Come Join an Inclusive Team
  • Assist the TA team in identifying required long-lead materials by commodity type for scheduled turnarounds, ensuring compliance with the Turnaround Excellence Model requirement that long-lead materials are onsite by T-3.
  • Support the Procurement Buyers with any material procurement.
  • Coordinate with TACT internal clients and material suppliers to communicate and meet turnaround long-lead time material requirements.
  • Report out regularly to the Turnaround Procurement Manager, GPU Procurement Manager, TM Category Managers, and TA Procurement team on the overall turnaround material requirements.
  • Focus on long lead materials for any Turnarounds, which includes planning, contract reviews, compliance to strategies, and problem solving, supplier engagement, etc.

A Day in the Life
  • Responsible for supporting/executing Turnaround procurement TM strategies.
  • Responsible for tracking TA Lessons Learned for Long Lead materials via digital tools.
  • Analyze continuous improvement opportunities to create efficiencies for TA Procurement.
  • Engage suppliers early for scheduled turnarounds, communicating technical review deadlines and PO requirements to support T-3 milestone compliance.
  • Drive and track process improvements by analyzing historical issues by material type and supplier base.
  • Support TA buyers during TA execution for any TM related issues when needed.
  • Oversee TA Procurement material expediting and coach the team to strengthen expediting capabilities.
  • Ensure accurate turnaround and job scope definition while maintaining strong market awareness.
  • Establish and utilize a site/field support network to aid in the timely acquisition of required turnaround materials while achieving maximum overall cost effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for improvement and continually drive performance and business results for TM suppliers and internal processes.
  • Participate in periodic business review meetings with key business partners to assess risk, review future strategies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Aide in coaching business partners on procurement processes and lead times associated with long lead materials.

You Bring This Value
  • 5+ years related experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • 3 years of Turnaround Procurement experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working in SAP utilizing supply chain or procurement functionality is strongly preferred.
