Berkeley, California is a small city with a big reputation. At just ten square miles of land and seven square miles of water, Berkeley is famous around the globe as a center for academic achievement, scientific exploration, free speech, and the arts, and home to over 50 parks, a top-ranked university, and the largest public marina in the San Francisco Bay. JOB OPPORTUNITY As a YouthWorks Intern, you will be placed at a City of Berkeley department or community-based organization for job experience and skill development.

You'll gain exposure to the work environment and receive training and guidance toward professional development goals. Specific duties vary depending upon the department or organization to which assigned. This comprehensive program helps participants develop skills in interviewing, resume writing, financial literacy, and employability while connecting with mentors from City government and local organizations.

Other requirements: Must reside in Berkeley, California. May be required to work evenings or weekends
