In the role of Geotechnical Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Assist in performing geotechnical calculations and analysis for small- and large-scale projects
  • Assist in planning and conducting geotechnical investigations and site assessments
  • Assist with geotechnical drilling, logging and preparing boring logs
  • Gain real-world experience on exciting projects
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness and ability to go to the field as needed
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Familiarity with Geotechnical software.
  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • Local candidates preferred

The ideal candidate will commit to working approximately 20 hours per week on-site. This position does not offer remote work.
