We want to hear about your PASSION, your STORY, and how your EXPERTISE can help us shape the future of dairy.Requirements  *Internal candidates must have been in their current role for at least 6 months and have no active CA's within the past 12 months. * From your STORY to ours: Pay: Starting from $34.82hr - $45.40hr Shift: Night Shift (Currently Hiring)Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (2-2, 3-2, 2-3)Night Shift: 5:50 PM6:20 AMFacility operates 24/7Must be available for overtime, weekends, holidays, and emergency coverage as neededQualified applicants will contribute the following:Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, steam, and compressed air systemsPerform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairsConduct daily ammonia system inspections and roundsSupport equipment modifications and technical troubleshootingParticipate in Process Safety Management (PSM) and Root Cause Analysis activitiesPerform maintenance during both production and scheduled downtimeAssist maintenance technicians and support training of new employeesParticipate in Continuous Improvement initiativesAbility and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.Plant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Education:  High school diploma or GED required 1 2 years of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience or technical trade certification Basic computer proficiency Preferred experience with:Ammonia refrigeration systemsHVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, and steam systems RETA CARO or CIRO certification required or obtainable within 12 months Ability to use APR respirators and SCBA Ability to perform duties as part of a HAZMAT teamExperience: Preferred experience with:Ammonia refrigeration systemsHVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, and steam systems RETA CARO or CIRO certification required or obtainable within 12 months Ability to use APR respirators and SCBA Ability to perform duties as part of a HAZMAT teamPhysical requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms Wear required PPE including arc flash suits, respirators, and protective clothing Work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, or wet environments Work around high-speed industrial machinery and food allergens Ability to certify as a HAZMAT Technician and respond in Level A suitAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditionsWilling to work around industrial high-speed moving machineryAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a food environmentAt Lactalis, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards Program with a variety of affordable benefits and coverage options.
