Group Fitness Instructor for a Boutique Fitness Studio - Chapel Hill, NC
Yogasix Chapel Hill is seeking energetic and passionate Group Fitness Instructors who are eager to grow their teaching skills and become part of a dynamic team that is helping our community move, sweat, and thrive. We are looking for enthusiastic team players who love leading high-energy, music-driven classes and are excited to inspire others through movement and connection.
Instructors are hired as employees (not independent contractors), allowing us to invest in your ongoing development and growth as a fitness professional.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver fun, safe, and effective workouts in line with YogaSix training and class formats for Sculpt & Flow and Mobility
  • Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to class time
  • Greet members and build meaningful connections
  • Set up and reset the studio space before and after class (equipment, music, lighting)
  • Provide modifications and encouragement for all fitness levels
  • Support cleanliness and upkeep of studio spaces
  • Engage with the community and represent our studio culture inside and outside class

Position Requirements:
  • Prior experience leading group fitness classes (1+ years preferred)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, etc.)
  • CPR/AED Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with music-based formats (HIIT, strength, cardio, etc.) a plus
  • Must be willing to teach according to YogaSix formats and standards
  • Screened candidates will be invited to attend a preliminary audition
  • Must complete online training within two weeks of signed offer letter

Compensation: Class rate varies based on experience, ability, and class format(s).
