In a YMCA Cleaning role, you can expect to be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of gyms, locker rooms, restrooms, offices, and other common areas. This includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash bins, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and restocking supplies. You’ll also regularly inspect facilities for safety hazards and may communicate with facility staff about special cleaning needs or events. Working as part of a larger facilities or custodial team, you’ll help ensure the environment remains safe and pleasant for all members and visitors.
