Job description

POSITION:High School Art TeacherGervais High School is building a brand new and expanded space for the art classroom, with professional print and studio production equipment. The new space will be finished this summer to support this growing CTE pathway. The art teacher has a section of Intro to Art and Digital Media electives for middle school students to introduce and build interest in the program.

There are also sections of Intro to Art and Design, Digital Imaging, Graphic Design, Media Production (newspaper and yearbook), and Photo Journalism (newspaper and yearbook) for high school students. There are additional stipends available to serve as the Inkling student newspaper and yearbook advisor. This teacher will participate in the Mid-Willamette Education Consortium visual communications PLC, with additional classroom project funding available through this partnership.
