Job description

BGF Industries in Altavista is hiring for multiple entry level full-time manufacturing positions! These positions will be for second (4pm - Midnight) and third shifts (Midnight - 8am) throughout manufacturing.
Some of our job responsibilities include,

  • Supply machines with filling yarn - correct yarn description and lot number.
  • Doff cloth from machines - attach cloth to empty shell or tube to assure proper loom restart.
  • Order, transport, and stage processed/raw yarn. Verify type yarn received.
  • Prepare shipping documents necessary to send to other departments.
  • Move yarn to machinery for processing.
  • Move section beams and loom beams as necessary for processing or storage.
  • Work on Mat Line and package materials.
  • As required prepare, store, or retrieve material required to process materials.
  • Process parts on equipment. Box parts appropriately.
  • Prepare boxes/rolls for shipment.

Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

High school diploma/GED required.

Rate: Starting $15.00 - $16.11 per hour
