Job Description
Central Transport is one of the nation's largest and fastest-growing Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) transportation carriers. With continued network expansion and record growth over the past several years, we're looking for dedicated, hardworking individuals to join our team at our Atlanta, GATerminal.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Safely move trailers between docks, yard spots, and staging areas using a yard tractor.
  • Maintain organized trailer flow to support daily operations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of yard equipment.
  • Communicate with dispatch and dock teams to coordinate trailer movements.
  • Inspect trailers for damage and ensure proper placement and documentation.
  • The ability to follow instructions, either while working independently, or as part of a team

Job Requirements:
  • Previous yard switcher or CDL driving experience (Class A CDL preferred).
  • Strong attention to safety and yard organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent work history.
