Universal is seeking full time 2nd Shift yard switchers!

JOB DETAILS:
  • Work week schedule: TUESDAY - SATURDAY
  • Hours: 3PM - 11PM
  • 1st Shift: Sunday - Thursday 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
  • 40 hours/week (Overtime after 40)
  • Pay: $21.50/Hour 2nd shift
  • $21.00 1st shift
  • Benefits after 90 days: Blue Cross/Blue Shield Medical, Dental and Vision.
  • Paid Holidays and Paid Days Off

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform trailer switches according to schedule
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Check trailer numbers and verify documentation
  • Report equipment damage or safety issues
  • Maintain yard organization and traffic flow
  • Communicate with warehouse staff and dispatch
  • Follow all DOT and company safety policies

Requirements & Experience:
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
  • No Felonies or DUI/OWI in the last 5 years
