Job description

REIC Rentals is hiring a Yard Technician in Redmond, OR. We are looking for someone experienced in operating construction or farm equipment, with a background in basic mechanics and passionate about safety, quality, and customer service.
As a Yard Technician, your responsibilities will include meticulously washing and detailing rental equipment before delivery, inspecting small equipment for quality, managing the hookup and receiving of trailers or smaller rented items, and enhancing the overall visual appeal of the yard.
Who We Are
REIC Rentals is a fast-growing, elite equipment rental company with 55+ locations across North America. We operate under several brand names, including Midway Rental, Pro Rentals and Sales, Excavator Rental Service, Black Mountain Rental, and Aim High Equipment Rentals.
A Typical Day May Include:
  • Prepping the yard for opening and closing of business

  • Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator

  • Washing and making any necessary repairs to returned equipment to ensure it is rent-ready

  • Assisting with the appearance, organization, and arrangement of equipment in the yard

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with Saturdays as needed.
Top Candidates Will Have:
  • A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation

  • Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests

  • A strong focus on safety

Additional Qualifications:
  • Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes

  • Ability to work fluctuating schedules, including Saturdays

  • Ability to complete other duties as assigned

  • Ability to comprehend job-related duties in both verbal and written formats

  • Comfortable working with limited supervision at times

  • Medical card preferred

  • Mechanical background preferred

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

  • Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
