Pay: $19 plus $2 perfect attendance incentive

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:10AM - 5:50PM

To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.

Receive training as required.

Perform various positions as required/assigned.

Description

This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas for shipping while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks/Duties:

This position must be willing to learn to operate yard truck and move trailer to wash bay, able to wash trailer with high pressure water and cleaning solutions and will wash trailers inside and/or outside as needed.

Perform regularly scheduled lot checks and reefer checks every 2-4 hours depending on the season.

Lot checks will consist of inventorying the trailers on the building and drop lots for proper yard location placement and validating set/run temperatures of the trailer reefer units, recording reefer unit fuel levels, and validating all information is recorded accurately and legibly to be transferred to WMS system. Must be able to write temps, fuel levels on trailers and any other required documentation.

Will be required to abide by all yard safety practices.

May be certified to perform on premise yard spotter moves.

Must be able to work in all types of weather to include cold, hot, damp and dusty environment.

Must be able to stand for entire shift. Job requires require walking, bending, standing, turning, pulling, twisting, and lifting up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.

Will fill in for the Checkpoint Trailer checker at Checkpoint for 1st or 2nd shift as needed.

Will be responsible for recording trailer information and reporting information to transportation and management including but not limited: to door latches, fuel levels, damages, pallet inventory, load locks, late loads, and supplies.

Responsible for reporting any damages of trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Will fill in fueling reefer trailers with the company fuel truck on 1st and 2nd shift.

All other duty's assigned by your supervisor.

Must be able to communicate via radio.

Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork

Must be able to read invoices, packing slips, records of materials, etc.

Requirement:

Must have 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application.

Prefer 3 months of forlift operator experience.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must have a clear MVR report.

NO DUI/DWIs in the last 12 months

Rehire Consideration:

Location does not consider rehires.
