Candidates must be based in California or willing to relocate.We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven **Account Director** to join the Yahoo DSP Sales team. In this role, you will drive revenue growth, build strategic client relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor to advertisers, agencies, and brands. You will be responsible for growing Yahoo DSP revenue by helping clients achieve their marketing objectives through innovative programmatic advertising solutions.**Responsibilities****Sales Strategy and Revenue Generation:*** Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve Yahoo DSP revenue targets.* Identify and prospect new advertisers, agencies, and brands by articulating the differentiated value of Yahoo DSP.* Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, accurately tracking opportunities and driving consistent revenue growth.* Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies.**Client Relationship Management:*** Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across client organizations.* Understand client business objectives, marketing goals, and challenges to recommend tailored Yahoo DSP solutions.* Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that showcase Yahoo DSP capabilities and performance.* Provide exceptional client service to drive long-term partnerships, retention, and account growth.**Consultative Selling and Solution Development:*** Analyze client business needs and develop customized programmatic advertising solutions using the Yahoo DSP.* Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Client Services to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.* Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, privacy changes, and emerging technologies to provide strategic guidance.* Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to streamline sales workflows, improve account planning, enhance pipeline management, and increase overall productivity.**Cross-functional Collaboration:*** Partner with Yahoo DSP Product and Engineering teams to provide customer feedback, influence product enhancements, and identify opportunities for improvement.* Collaborate with Client Services and Account Management to ensure seamless onboarding, campaign execution, optimization, and customer success.* Work closely with Finance and Legal teams to negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies.**Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred (advanced degree a plus).* 7+ years of successful digital advertising sales experience, preferably within the programmatic advertising ecosystem.* Deep understanding of demand-side platforms (DSPs), programmatic advertising, and the digital media landscape.* Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.* Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for clients.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive strategic business decisions.* Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.* Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.Join our team and play a key role in driving the continued growth of Yahoo DSP.
