XstremeMD is seeking experienced Safety Technicians to support offshore projects in the Gulf of Mexico. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience supporting Plug & Abandonment (P&A), Decommissioning, Well Intervention, and Offshore Construction Operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and promote safe work practices offshore
- Conduct job safety observations and audits
- Ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and company safety requirements
- Participate in incident investigations and reporting
- Support daily safety meetings, JSAs, and permit-to-work processes
- Serve as a safety resource for offshore personnel and project management
- Minimum of 2 years of offshore safety experience
- Experience supporting one or more of the following:
- Plug & Abandonment (P&A)
- Decommissioning
- Offshore Construction
- Well Intervention
- Drilling or Completion Operations
- Knowledge of OSHA and industry safety standards
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification
- Ability to work rotational offshore schedules
- RigPass
- SafeGulf or SafeLand
- T-HUET
- OSHA 30
- H2S Awareness
- Competitive offshore rotational assignments
