Xray Assistants, also known as Radiology Assistants or Radiologic Technologist Assistants, are healthcare professionals who support radiologic technologists and radiologists in performing diagnostic imaging procedures. Their duties include preparing patients for X-ray exams, maintaining and operating imaging equipment, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. They also help with administrative tasks such as managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
