Overview
Radiology Tech - X-Ray travel assignment in Ganado, Arizona. Start date: 08/31/2026. Duration: 14 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,627-$2,685 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 7 on, 7 off schedule with 40 hours per week; mid-shift Friday 8:00 a.m.-10:30 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday 8:00 a.m.-9:30 p.m.; Monday-Thursday 11:00 a.m.-9:30 p.m. This assignment takes place in a Critical Access Hospital and involves on-call coverage after daily shifts. Travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging (XR) and CT examinations per protocol, ensuring diagnostic image quality and adherence to radiation safety standards.
- Operate imaging equipment (Siemens Definition Edge, AGFA XR, Siemens Mobilette portable, AGFA portable), optimize exposure factors, and position patients to obtain required views.
- Verify patient identity and exam requests, explain procedures, screen for contraindications, and document findings in the EMR/PACS; communicate results to the radiologist promptly.
- Provide portable imaging on the unit as needed; maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures; uphold ALARA principles and infection control practices.
- Collaborate with radiology team to ensure timely imaging workflow, equipment readiness, and adherence to stroke and spinal cord compression protocols; participate in on-call responsibilities as scheduled.
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography (XR)
- Arizona license in Radiology and CT imaging
- Active XR/CT experience; ability to perform XR and CT procedures
- Arizona licensure requirements for Radiology and CT
- Willingness to work a 7 on, 7 off schedule and to participate in on-call coverage as needed
