Independent Contractor Part-Time $55-$80 per session
Paradise Valley Country Club is seeking a knowledgeable, client-focused, and reliable Comprehensively Certified Pilates Instructor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is committed to creating an exceptional member experience through every session.
The Position
This is a part-time position of approximately 8-12 hours per week, structured in 3-4 hour teaching blocks.
Instructors will primarily teach private/semi-private sessions on all Pilates apparatus and will have the flexibility to book their own sessions with members within their scheduled block.
You are only required to be at the club when you have a booking and are compensated for the sessions you teach.
As the program grows, there will be opportunities for additional hours and future small-group classes of 3-4 participants.
A plus:
  • NCPT certification
  • Experience working with golf, tennis, or pickleball athletes
  • Experience using Pilates to support athletic performance, mobility, balance, strength, and injury prevention
  • Willingness to substitute or teach Mat Pilates classes
The Future of Pilates at PVCC
Paradise Valley Country Club is undergoing a major remodel, including a brand-new, state-of-the-art fitness facility scheduled to open in fall/winter 2027.
The new Pilates studio will feature:
  • 6 Balanced Body Reformers with Tower Conversions
  • 6 XO Chairs
  • 6 Jumpboards
  • Additional equipment to provide diverse and elevated programming

Our goal is to grow the Pilates program alongside the growth of the club and provide members with an exceptional Pilates experience.

What We're Looking For
We want instructors who are:

Requirements
  • Comprehensive Pilates certification from a recognized training program such as Balanced Body, BASI, Pilates Sports Center, or comparable program
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Experience teaching private and semi-private Pilates sessions
  • Strong understanding of Pilates principles, cueing, and movement mechanics
  • Ability to confidently work with clients of all ages and ability levels
  • Comfortable providing safe and effective modifications for older adults, injuries, mobility limitations, and other restrictions
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
